the first five minutes of Transformers (2007).

It's already terrible.

I had the BEST time at that movie. It was all I had hoped. Because inside me somewhere is an 8-year-old apparently. I spent the next few days thinking every vehicle I saw was going to transform on me.

I have noticed on Netflix that you and I disagree on most movies, however.

That is true, and that's okay. I don't like Morrissey either. I do notice that they're wasting no time getting to the action, which is good; I just don't like introductory monologues.

IT'S A SUMMER BLOCKBUSTER! it's supposed to be stupid. i think the human action is iffy, and i think they take a long time getting to the good stuff, but it's better than a lot of other summer blockbusters (all of which end up in the "that was kind of moronic" pile as a rule).

Well, the thing is: if the human stuff is going to be stupid (and it is, it's awful), I don't see why they need to have it in the first place. GET TO THE FREAKING GIANT ROBOTS! I need to make a list of good action movies, which are a rare treat.
